Scotty McCreery

April 21, 2016

Wow wow wow this was a night my ears need to remember forever. His voice is just Awhhh. I really do love him this big (heart eyes) hahaha.

The concert was at SUU and the gym was packed. I got a pizza at the concession stand and my best friend right by my side. I was a happy camper. Some girls played before him and they were good and it was okay that I was twenty minutes late because they were still singing. Everything went smoothly and perfectly. I got to see some familiar faces!

There was a girl in the row in front of us who was REALLY into it the whole time. Scotty sang a song that hasn't came out yet and I fell in love. Something about a guy and a guitar (I got lucky and my husband sings and plays too. ;)). All of his songs were really good from the love songs to the up beat fun country ones!

It was a cheap, awesome night to say the least. LIVE singers that are ACTUALLY good at show with great company is what music is all about.

White Rock: 4-16-16

So, on Saturday I worked at the temple and we spent some time in St.George shopping then we came home and Taner helped my dad and brothers with a project my dad is working on that I am so stoked for! He is building a tree house but without a tree. It is going to be so cool! My dad is SUPER awesome with building things out of wood. He is a master haha. Anyways, they worked on that for a little while and then we decided to go up to White Rock.

We love it up there. One of the reasons being is that is where Taner proposed! So we wanted to go up and do some hiking but, it was getting dark already and when we got up there Tan decided that he wanted to pan some gold and I love to wonder off and explore by myself. I love the earth and there is just so much beauty in it that I love finding!
So Taner has started getting interested in panning gold ever since we went hiking in Zion and Marlan mentioned it. Another weekend after that Taner and Marlan spent some time together and by then Mar convinced Tan to buy a pan so of course he did. He loves every chance he gets to try it out.
Told ya I am obsessed with flowers lately. I can't wait to get a real actual camera so I can stop taking crappy IPhone pictures.

We LOOOVE spending time outside + super LOVE the free time we have on weekends to do whatever we want to do!

Maid of Honor

Seriously such an HONOR that I get to be Larena Sue Rushtons Maid of Honor.
(on the back it said Maid of Honor and it had ring pops in it.. really was so cute before I got ahold of it.)

Such an honor to have her as my best friend. We are a pretty great best friend combo: She has brown hair, I have blonde. I think of really dumb things that we shouldn't do, she helps me follow through with them. I tell her everything, she listens (or at least pretends to). Her family loves me and she is a sister to me. We have been best friends for almost TEN years. We've been through a lot together. We've done a lot of things together: skydiving, skinny dipping, concerts, sleepovers, fishing, hiking, roadtrips, and much much more. So many first things were with her right by my side. Sounds cheesy to say but, I wouldn't be who I am today with out her (You can decide if that is good or bad). But, either way I have loved every second of it. She has a good heart, is beautiful, independent, loving, and I could really go on forever. She probably knows me better than anyone. I am so grateful for her and no words could ever express the bond we have.
{Just a couple pictures}

So last week I got to go wedding dress shopping with her and it was so much fun! She looked beautiful in every single dress she tried on. I have tons of pictures but, I won't post any.. you will just have to see on her wedding day! ;) We don't get to spend much time together that much at all lately because of school and work schedules so it was awesome to spend time together. We shopped, ate, had slushies, and caught up.
I am SOOO stoked for her wedding + I am so blessed and happy to be a part of it.

Dixie Rock

Dixie rock has been one of my favorite places for quite a few years! My best friend, Larena, and I would go up there and it would seem like all our problems would disappear. We would go and sit and stare at the temple and look at the beautiful scenery. I seriously think Utah is one of the prettiest states in the US! I LOVE MOUNTAINS. Anyways, It is still one of my favorite places but for adventure now. For a little sun and hiking. It is pretty and reminds me of mars or something. I love doing a little climbing and hiking SO close to St.George.

My super rad dance moves and hardcore proof that I am so weird.

I love little caves and my best friend

I am obsessed with flower pictures lately!

Sunday General Conference

Conference at the Hansen's house on Sunday morning was great! Tiffany made delicious cinnamon rolls and I love being at their house. They are so welcoming and loving ALL OF THE TIME. I'm sad I didn't take any pictures but we did absolutely love it so much!

For the Sunday afternoon session we went to the Felshaw home! Our nephew Layton turned one so we had a little party for him. Sheena's family and Brogan's family were there. Conference was wonderful, as always. After it was over we played games and hungout with the family. It was fun and I actually documented this one!

Layton's cupcake smash

Sasha, Lincoln & Taner
Fun fact: I love teaching kids how to stick out their tongue. And also, Linc is the cutest.

The best way I can personally get things out of conference is by taking notes. It helps me listen SO much better. Writing is just an awesome learning tool for me.

There was LOTS of sleeping going on!

Sequence! One of my favorite games. Brogan and Shantelle made this giant board game for my parents house one year! I have such talented and creative siblings!

Rootbeer floats for Layton's party :) Yummy!

Salt Lake: Day Two

So we woke up in our motel and all started taking showers and getting ready for the day ahead. We put on our skirts and dresses. We listened to some of the morning session of General Conference while getting ready. Packed up our things and checked out. I actually had the brilliant idea of just throwing our things out the window since we were on the bottom floor. Laziness at its finest.

We went to McDonalds for breakfast.. it was nice. Seriously! It was super clean and they had garbage's that were automatic! We just stared at them for awhile. Also, McDonalds has Monopoly going on right now and I am just a HUGE fan of that. We got in the car and turned on some church jams and seriously the music just gives me chills sometimes. I love it! We finally found our parking area and parked. We walked towards the temple and there were herds of people. Before going through the temple gates there were tons of people dressed in rainbows, face painted and some were even wearing masks. They weren't saying very kind words but I just ignored it and we walked in. The grounds of the temple were seriously packed with people! We walked around the temple and took lots pictures. The weather was absolutely perfect.

The flowers were BEAUTIFUL.

We went inside both the visitor centers and they are AMAZING and huge! I have never been in either of them before, that I can remember at least. My favorites were some of the videos, the statue of Christ and the temple building that showed what the inside of the building looks like.
After awhile of roaming around and looking at different things it was finally time to go to the conference center. EEP! This was my first time at the conference center and we were all REALLY excited! We had some more mean things said to us by protesters such as, "You girls look like you just got out of a pole dancing class" for reference look at the pictures of us above... And maybe direct me towards a kind of pole dancing class that we can dress like that in. Like what? Anyways, we found our entry door and waited in line for not very long, went through security and a mess of people and finally entered the room. IT IS AMAZING. We got seated and next to who? The Binghams and The Gleaves! Haha, it was nice to see familiar faces. :) Our seats were AWESOME (Big shout out to Bailee and her fam).

When the prophet walked in everyone stood and it was completely silent. It was so perfect and the spirit was awesome. All the talks were truly inspired and wonderful. The spirit was strong and it went by WAY too quickly. I loved every single second of it. 10/10 recommend you going AT LEAST once in your life time. Well worth it and makes it way easier to listen haha. Also, Tiffany (mine and Talias momma) made us these super cute notebooks to take notes with and color on cause who doesn't love adult coloring books?
After the session was over we walked across to the street to the mall and had chikfila and went shopping! I bought a bath bomb and let me just tell you it is literally the bomb. There was the coolest candy shop and this is a soda wall that had TONS of different old school soda bottles. It was sweet!
Anyways, we shopped around awhile and then went to Desert Book and waited in line for Al Fox Carraway. Little did we know that it was actually Ladies Night there so there was this amazing singer named Calee Reed who did a little concert and they were doing giveaways, too. It was pretty neat! We then got Al to sign our books. She is so nice and just HAPPY. I loved it.

Afterwards we headed home making stops, shopping and getting on the wrong exits. I love these girls more than words could describe and I am so thankful I got this opportunity to spend this time with them. They are all beautiful, smart and have the strongest testimonies.
Til next time.

ONE YEAR

How is it that our girl is already one?! Well she turned one like over two weeks ago. I've known and wanted to write this but there ...
