26 Weeks
We are SO excited but probably mostly I am. Lots has happened in the past 8 weeks! But time has honestly flown by. Here are some updates:
-Baby is still always moving but now we can see it! And feel it. It is seriously awesome! I am to the point where I wish she would seriously take a break sometimes and let my stomach chill. But it is just crazy and makes it more real that there is actually a human in there.
- Everything is getting more uncomfortable by the day! Sleeping, sitting, standing, laying, eating, watching tv, and anything else you can think of!
- I can feel my body getting weaker. Weird, huh? Like I am growing a baby but losing muscles. How does that work? My arms could use a serious workout. Today I was in pain while doing my hair cause my arms are so weak. Pathetic.
-Lately I forget that I am pregnant and will like hit my belly into things. It seriously sometimes feels like it isn't there. How weird is that? I still feel really skinny and sometimes I suck in and I don't know why because it pretty much isn't possible. My belly doesn't even move haha.
-It is getting HOT. I am typically the type of person who is ALWAYS cold. But not anymore. Once that temp hits 80 degrees I am a gonner and so are my ankles hahah. My feet have been so swollen the last couple weeks and I twitch at the thought that they will only get worse.
-We still don't have a name. How do you find a name that is cute but not common that everyone likes and fits a child perfectly for their whole life? You really don't. So we will see how that plays out.
-I have been WAY more energized. I've went rock climbing (I was safe) and walking and hiking and thats about it but I actually always feel better after doing things! I love it and now can understand how women don't hate pregnancy.
-We have been realizing more each day how NOT ready we are to have a baby. It is alot to take on. I am barely responsible enough to take care of myself let alone anyone else. And don't even get me started on having a little baby child with me 24/7. And the money!!! Fo real, don't get me wrong.. we are excited.
-Baby is already extremely spoiled. Which I guess make sme spoiled? Either way we have gotten lots of clothes, blankets, and other random baby things and we are so lucky and so blessed!
-The heartburn has still been really steady and so has the sciatic nerve pain.
-Not that this has ever been any different but my husband has been super solid this whole pregnancy. He is always checking to see how I am doing, making dinner, giving me massages and working extra hard to make more money.
-Lastly another thing that hasn't changed but has in a way.. We love our baby SOOO much more every single day and she isn't even here yet!
-Baby is still healthy and everything has looked good at all our check ups and we couldn't be more grateful for that.
