ONE YEAR

 
How is it that our girl is already one?! Well she turned one like over two weeks ago. I've known and wanted to write this but there is not enough dang time in a day! So I am sure this one will be shorter post than usual because I am already ready for bed. Hahah I wrote that part like two weeks ago.. fail. So you are now pretty much 13 months old. Better late than never?

    

Alright, you are the cutest thing. You love exploring and doing new things. You love the river and spending time with other kids and adults. You love the dirt but really don't like grass.

You make a million funny faces and I adore them all.

You have this new obsession with beenie boos and any stuffed animal really. You have a decent size collection started but nothing tops Aunt Kates. You love when you hug one and someone says "so cute"

Oh our Killa girl.. you love her and all dogs and animals!! You love getting close to killa so she gives you a bath with her tongue. Every time she licks you, you laugh so hard and thinks its the best thing.

 

Uncle Marlan got home from his mission so you finally got to meet him! So far I think you are pretty good pals.

I don't remember if this is jelly or lipstick.. you love them both. But, you love getting into anything and everything. I don't think I have any pictures of it but you love getting into all the drawers and cupboards. Your favorite is the medicine drawer. You love getting the little medicine stick things and pretending to give yourself medicine...

You love making faces and showing off your teeth! You got a mouth full. I think you are up to 11 teeth now.

   

We got to see most of the Eyring side of the family for a weekend and we had a blast going to the lake, playing games and just hanging out. You have quite a few second cousins that are around your age so it will be a blast growing up!

Okay, Ida... you NEVER fall asleep like this. You don't ever cuddle to sleep. For some reason you prefer to be in your crib alone and crying yourself to sleep. No hurt feelings, though..

You are such a pretty baby. Your smile is my favorite. I love that you are pretty good at keeping bows on. Other babies really love pulling on them, though. You are still pretty bald so it helps people know that you are a girl haha.

Pajamas at the park is what it is all about. These are mine and Taners favorite pajamas to put you in. It is a little minnie mouse pj dress and it is just so cute. Also, really easy to change your diaper in. Also, your eyes are the prettiest in the world!

We went to the new library in Mesquite again. You love it there and so do we. There are so many toys to play with and books to read!

Pretty sure this is the only picture I got at your cousin Brielles birthday party. We had a blast and you loved playing with the chickens, eating things off the ground and Daisys new puppy!

Bath time with your cousin Brielle! You love all your cousins and they love you! 

We had your birthday party at Warm Springs! We all had a blast swimming and you were loving all the attention like always... It helps that you have a big fan club.

 

The Everitts gave you a giant bag of dum-dums... you never knew what you were missing. You absolutely LOVE suckers now, though!

We opened your presents the day after your party & birthday. You got SOO spoiled.

You love bath times and so do I because your dad always gives you them hahaha. But really you are so happy in the bath (sink). Hopefully you don't outgrow it too fast because that is the only thing we got so far.

You are growing quite the personality. You love playing peek-a-boo, screaming "HI" at everyone, putting things on your head and climbing all over everything.

We had your 12 month check up. You had a new doctor this month. Dr.Twiggs.. he was awesome. You are weighing a bit small, average on height and just perfect! 

Uncle Marlan got hit in the head with a rock & had to have brain surgery so we visited him in the hospital for a few days. We are so happy that he is okay!

You love standing in shopping carts and in your high chair... it is literally the worst because I feel like you are gonna fall out every second.

We've stayed at the Hansens a few times this month because well they are the best. This is you and Kate on a rzr ride!

Honestly, your parents love fast food so this was at Buffalo Wild Wings.. you were double fisting it. You reallllllyy love food.

You and Vanden. You are starting to not really play so well with others and kind of don't really like sharing anymore.

You love this pony that grammy hansen has!!! you especially love when grampa pushes you around on it, sitting backwards on it and standing up on it.

We went to Cedar to watch Aunt Kate play soccer. We went a bit earlier in the day and hungout with Lincoln and Emery, too!

We went to Daisys birthday party! It was lit. There was a water slide, water balloons, food, games, fun & family!

You got bit by a chicken on the lip (we think) and had a fat lip and were pretty miserable about it.

You love playing on the stairs and being outside!

If you are sneakin around the Hansens house there are two places to look for you.. you are either climbing the stairs or putting the dog food into their water bowl...

You are obsessed with Baby Einstein. You throw my phone at my face and I know that means you want to watch it.

Mom and Dad left your overnight for the first time with Grammy and Grampa Hansen. We missed you but we loved getting some time by ourselves and some sleep. ;)

We love you so much and are SOO grateful that you are ours. You make us laugh so much. You light up our lives, bug. We can't wait to see what this next year brings us.
