This has been such a busy past month. Today I actually thought about how old you are.. like seriously how has it been 11 months since you were born? Time seriously flies by. You are like fine wine and have definetly been getting better with age! It has been a super fun month and it really feels like they just keep getting more fun. You love standing against things, playing peek a boo, clacking your tongue, waving, and pretty much just life. You have 7 teeth, almost 8 and like 4 others on the way. You are still really tiny. You are such a happy girl and we are blessed to have you.
We went up to the Felshaws property on Cedar Mountain and had a fun day hanging out with cousins, ziplining, playing in dirt, riding the rzr, & eating!
Fathers Day 2018. We went to church and tried to give Taner a good day. He is such a great dad and loves you to the moon and back!
We went on a family vacation to California! We drove Thursday after we got off work and got to Cali at about 1 am. On Friday we decided to go look at some sites while we were waiting for the Felshaws to all get there. We first stopped at this Suspension Bridge. It was super long, tall and neat! There was kind of a trail to walk underneath.
Next stop was the La Jolla Hidden Rope Swing. It took us FOREVER to find this and once we did we were a bit disappointed because someone had cut the swing off! But, it was still such a beautiful view of the beach.
This Garden is in someones yard. Like what?? There are tons of different animals! So crazy and cool. We left you in the car because we weren't there long at all.
Beach Day!! It was freezing! We made sand castles, ate snacks, boogie boarded and found shells. All the adults had a blast but all the kids were pretty miserable and freezing.
We did some other things at the camp that were lots of fun. Volleyball, soccer, played on the playground, disc golf, horseshoes, team building activities and lots more. Almost all of the Felshaws were there and it was such a blast.
Heading out of California we stopped and went on this hike. It was hot but right along the river so it was pretty cool. It looked like desert and jungle all within miles of each other. We ended at this pretty waterfall!
Last stop on the way home was 7 magic mountains. I think you were just happy to get out of the car! You are always such a good sport.
July 3rd. Bunkerville town waterfight. We went with Keven, Tiffany and Kate. We also were by DeNae and Owen Rappleye. We had lots of fun getting soaked!! One of my favorite traditions.
4th of July swimming! We started the day with swimming and just hanging out. We had a yummy dinner of Hamburgers and salads and desserts. Kate, Tiff and Keven brought most of the food. It was delicious. It was the perfect day to swim, too. We had fun with Ruskans family.
At night we went to the Scotty McCreery concert with the Hansens. We listened to music, hungout, ate snacks and watched the fireworks. You weren't too interested in the fireworks, you just wanted to play.
This summer has been like most... hot. We try and spend time at the pool as much as possible. You LOVE the water as long as its at the right temperature. Your favorite thing is splashing.
We spent an evening at the river in Mesquite. The weather was perfect and it was good to go on a little family adventure. You absolutely LOVE the river. Water, sand and the outdoors.. what else could you want?
Watching Grandpa mow the lawn with Aunt Kate.
Your personality grows each month! You are so much better at just doing your own thing and not needing us to play with you all the time. It is lots easier to get things done.
Some more playing. You love getting into anything and everything!!
We try to go on walks every Sunday. Your dad tries to pretend you are a racer and make you "get serious air."
Pictures from Grammys phone! She spoils you so much!
Watchin mom mow the lawn in the humid heat! & helping dad mop the floor.
Parks are your happy place. You love swinging and going down slides!
Free Fishing Day! We went to gunlock and caught absolutely no fish but Dad and Kasdan had fun trying while we played on the beach and then you had fun with Dad while Kasdan and I went cliff jumping. It was a fun day!
More swimming. We are so lucky to have a pool in our backyard!
You are SO fascinated with remotes and batteries. You are obsessed with batteries.
You are so good at eating. You like pretty much everything. You don't like beets and something else I don't remember but you usually aren't too picky at all. And you eat 24/7.
You are such a cutie in your little sink baths. That is the only kind of baths that you usually get because we only have a shower. But, you like it and it is perfect for you right now.
We tried doing some paingting. You were more interested in the tape.. of course. But it did entertain you for a little bit so that is always a win.
Suns out, bums out.
You are a quick crawler and are so curious about everything.
Just keep swimming. Lots of times we just go out to the pool to get our feet in and that results in Ida wanting to get all the way in.
We watched dad and grandpa change the Struts and Shocks on mine and Grammys cars. It was hot but you were super interested in all the tools.
Your new favorite thing is unwrapping all the toilet paper and pulling out all the wipes from their containers.
We love you SOOO much. You feel our lives with joy. Thanks for being patient with us while we figure out this whole parenting thing. You are the best, bug. We are so so so so lucky to have you!
xoxo,
Mom + Dad
