*18 Weeks*
So before I got pregnant I totally had this alternate me in mind of how I was gonna be and how I would post cute pictures and updates every week and everything was just gonna be awesome. I was SO wrong. I have been the WORST at recording my pregnancy so far but I know I want it documented and to look back on it at least a little bit. So here are some common questions people like to know about my pregnancy:
1. How are you feeling?
I get asked this daily and I always say good and then people say, "But how are you REALLY feeling?" I really like when people do that because then I feel like I can seriously start to complain. ;) Kidding, kind of. I have been great lately. First trimester honestly sucked. I felt sick ALL OF THE TIME. First trimester REAL answer “Fine… except that my bladder has shrunk to the size of a pea; between my hot flashes and heartburn, I pee constantly, my boobs hurt, I am getting stretch marks, I am having growing pains, I feel like I’m on fire inside and out, and I’m sprouting hair and pimples in some very unexpected places… Shall I go on?” Now I have little to no complaints. I have back nerve pinches, I feel like my tummy is a balloon getting inflated, and I am still tired. I FEEL SO MUCH BETTER, THOUGH.
2. Do you have any cravings?
Yes. OHHH YEESSS. But, nothing weird. I always had cravings even before I was pregnant. The main things I have craved my whole pregnancy so far is steak, pizza, the surf&turf roll from Samurai 21, Arby's and Costa Vida. Which are my favorite foods all the time.
3.Do you want a boy or a girl?
Honestly, a girl. Taner wants a boy. Trurthfully we are just so blessed to be able to have a baby that I don't even care, though. And I don't want it to ever turn into a teenager. We do get to find out on March 21st and we are SUPER excited for that. :)
4. Can I touch your belly?
JUST KIDDING. Nobody asks that, they just do it. Honestly I don't mind but it is a little weird.
5. When is your due date?
August 10, 2017. If baby is anything like its parents it will be a little late.
Here are some questions I would like to be asked:
1. How do you manage to look so awesome while you are pregnant? (answer is me blushing)
2. Can I bring you a meal after the baby is born? (the answer is yes)
3. Would you like my babies hand me downs? (answer is yes)
4. Can you name your child after me? (no)
5. Would you want to carry my child? (flattered but no)
Questions I HATE being asked:
1. Are you still pregnant?
HONESTLY, WHAT THE HECK.
2. Do you want to go running?
I would rather die. I would die.
3. (not a question but a comment) You need to eat healthier.
SHUT YOUR FACE, YOU KNOW NOTHING.
Seriously, pregnancy is nothing like I expected because I never really thought about how it would be to actually be pregnant. I always thought I would never be able to have kids. We are so happy! Here are some other random things I want to remember:
-We moved to St.George
-I've been really itchy
-I am very emotional and hormonal
-Baby doesn't like when Taner touches my belly
-At all our ultrasounds so far baby has been jumping, kicking, waving and just constantly moving
-I gag at almost all gross smells
-I hate the smell of pee
-My stomach really started to show at 17 weeks
-Taner is still in denial that I am pregnant and in even more denial that it is his child. When he found out I was all "How are we gonna raise a child? he was like, "we??? YOU need to figure out how to raise a child and I need to figure out how to rent a U-haul cause I am outta here" Okay, that isn't quite how the conversation went but, we aren't ready.
-I am pretty sure I felt the baby kick a couple nights ago but, I am not sure.
-All I do is watch netflix
-We LOOOOOOVVVEEE baby a;ready
There is our little update so far.. next update will be the GENDER :)
